Are you a new Customer?
Starting new service with Harris County Municipal Utility
District 81 for water is managed by our Operator, Municipal
District Services, LLC (MDS). Forms to use to start service
can be found on their website at:
www.mdswater.com/newservice//
A one-time non-refundable $37 service initiation fee AND
deposit is required for all new applicants.
Deposit Fees are as follows:
- A refundable $100 deposit is required for all Owners
- A refundable $150 deposit is required for all Tenants/Renters
